Storm Drain Stenciling Participants



  • Friends of the Black River will conduct their 4th annual clean up and festival (including stenciling) on August 11, 2007. Go to www.friendsoftheblackriver.org to sign up or for more information.
  • 9 girls and 3 adults with Brownie Troops #888 and #947 in Madison stenciled 5 drains near Herbert Schenk Elementary School
  • 16 Lincoln School Green Group students stenciled 30 drains in the Beaver Dam area
  • The City of Manitowoc coordinated two projects to stencil 551 inlets which drain to the Manitowoc River, Little Manitowoc River and Lake Michigan!
  • The City of Kimberly worked with local schools students to stencil 141 of 900 drains in their community.
  • A dozen UW-Stout students stenciled 200 drains within a mile radius of campus during September and October.
