Summaries of Local Monitoring Results

As of June 2016, there are nearly 1200 active citizen-based monitoring sites registered in the SWIMS database, with about 700 sites actively monitored in 2015. This has grown from fall 1996 when just 4 sites were monitored as part the program's pilot phase and from 2006 when WAV started using the SWIMS database. All of this information (and more) is accessible on the online database for WAV monitoring.
