WAV Display
A three-panel display is available for your group to borrow to use at public or private functions. It explains the 6 parameters that are monitored in WAV and includes an updateable map of Wisconsin to indicate where monitoring efforts are underway. DVD series
A two set DVD series was developed to provide citizens with:

  • An introduction to the Water Action Volunteers Stream Monitoring Program
  • Refresher training for each of the WAV monitoring parameters. View online >>
  • Results from the first 8 years of WAV monitoring efforts
  • PowerPoint presentations to provide extra education about macroinvertebrates, stream ecology, and watersheds, presented by Dr. Kristopher Wright, UW-Platteville

This DVD series is provided free of charge to those who are trained to use WAV methods to monitor streams or to those with interest in the monitoring program. Although individuals may keep a copy permanently, we ask that if you are done using it that you return it for someone else's use, as copies are limited. Contact Peggy Compton to request a copy.
