This event is designed to:

  • give those involved with the program a chance to connect in person with one another for networking
  • educate participants about stream monitoring-related topics you've indicated are of interest
  • give you a chance to interact with and learn from experts in science, policy and administration of natural resources
  • recognize outstanding service by citizen stream monitors through the Volunteer Stream Monitoring Awards Program

This one day event is being held from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the University Center at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. The cost is $10 per person. Please register by January 10, 2009 on the River Alliance of Wisconsin's website.

Your local monitoring group's display would be a valuable part of the event. We'll have tables set up around the edge of the main meeting room for you to use to display your local program's information. There is no charge to exhibit. Simply indicate on your registration form if you plan to bring a display.

Please note that your registration will be considered complete only upon receipt of the $10 registration fee. Make checks payable to "River Alliance of Wisconsin" and send to:
