A Guide for Building an Ephemeral Pond Citizen Monitoring Program

Eyes on the Water is a "how to" guide for organizations (nature centers, college biology teachers, watershed groups, other "Friends" groups) wishing to build ephemeral pond citizen monitoring programs at the local level. The guide is based on the first two years of the Wisconsin Ephemeral Ponds Citizen Monitoring Network based in Southeast Wisconsin. The Network consists of over a dozen local Partners who provide the citizens with a local support mentor Here, you will find information about monitoring methods, training materials, presentations, as well as communication and logistical tools used as templates for others to use and to aid our own partners as our current program flourishes.
