DNR Water Quality Biologists by County

Click on each county to view local Department of Natural Resources (DNR) water quality and lake biologist contacts in that area. In most cases, biologists who work primarily on streams are listed as Water Resources Management Specialists, and those who work primarily on lakes are listed as Lake Management Specialists.

In addition to these contacts, there are a number of DNR fisheries biologists. Listings for the fisheries biologists are available at: http://dnr.wi.gov/fish/people/fisheriesbiologists.html. If you are unable to get in touch with a water quality, lake, or fisheries biologist in your area, you can contact a manager in that area. A listing of Basin Supervisors and their contact information is available at: http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/gmu/sidebar/teamleaders.html
