4th Annual Volunteer Stream Monitoring Symposium

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, University of Wisconsin- Extension and River Alliance of Wisconsin are hosting the 4th annual Symposium for volunteer stream monitors, local program coordinators, county, DNR and UWEX staff, and others interested in volunteer stream monitoring as it relates to assessing agricultural impacts in your watershed.
Please join us for this opportunity to:

  • Network with other citizens and groups interested in this topic
  • Learn about impacts to our watersheds from agriculture
  • Converse with farmers about the issues surrounding volunteer monitoring
  • Understand steps farmers take to protect waterways and regulations they follow
  • Find out about what to monitor and how to monitor from scientists and volunteer monitoring groups that have personal experiences to share
